CHALLENGE

A Private Equity funded Fiber Broadband start-up company, which had acquired a small ILEC/Fiber services provider, needed a unified infrastructure for immediate organizational functions. It also had an RDOF award property with immediate fiber construction plans. The company was interested in a purpose-built set of systems to align with their market strategy and support scaling to their ambitious growth target. Cost-effectiveness and simplicity were driving factors to optimize Operating Expenses.

SOLUTION

Our solution involved assisting with strategy development to identify market criteria and competitive advantages as well as defining prioritized requirements for the technology solution. With completed requirements, our team developed a Roadmap for delivery including applications and timeframes to support the company’s growth. As a result of the analysis, the determination was made to modernize the existing applications. This cost-effective approach would support a multi-year interim customer growth level while delivering on required high levels of customer service. We determined the required improvements to maximize the customer experience and assisted with the implementation of changes.

RESULTS

The company was able to start their growth plans quickly with modernized systems, deferring major expenditures for at least several years.
