End-to-End Start-Up Integration

CHALLENGE

A Private Equity funded Fiber Broadband start-up company, with no staff/organization, infrastructure, systems, or customers, needed to enter their competitive markets quickly. They needed a new full working set of front and back-office systems in place for pre-orders, orders, provisioning, trouble management, billing, and more. Their goal was to be able to service customers in 6 months from start-up. In addition, during this first six-month window, they acquired a small fiber broadband company in an adjacent market, which needed to be integrated into the new base.

SOLUTION

Our solution involved quickly developing a holistic IT solution roadmap, system selection, implementation, API integration, system set-up, training and cut over. The company prescribed a “best of breed” set of integrated systems. We designed and constructed a common User Interface and integrated a variety of leading broadband industry application packages. We also integrated the acquired company customers in parallel with the implementation, using our nearshore delivery center to accomplish this economically.

RESULTS

The six-month goal was met with operational service available on-time and within budget.
